Poly Seals makes three families of sealing materials for rigid packaging. Everything is extruded, laminated and die-cut in our Coimbatore plant, to the neck size and cap you use.
Induction family
Induction sealing wads bond to the container lip under an induction sealer and give an airtight, leak-proof, tamper-evident seal on PET, HDPE and PP containers.
- Single-piece induction liner (PSSEAL-SPIL): heat-seal layer, aluminium foil, EPE foam and polyester in one wad
- Two-piece induction wad: a backing that stays in the cap and a foil seal that stays on the container
- Easy-peel wads: for packs where easy opening matters
- Vented wads: let gas escape while keeping liquid in
Common sizes: 28, 33, 38, 45, 53, 63, 70, 83, 89 and 100 mm. Custom sizes on request.
Liner family
Three-layer, co-extruded polyethylene foam liners that give a cap a soft, compressible seal against the container lip. Odour-free and chemically resistant.
- EPE cap liners (PSLSEAL-3L): for ROPP caps, aluminium caps and PP screw caps
- EPE ring gaskets (PSRSEAL-3L): for dispensing pumps, trigger sprayers, lotion pumps and lubricant closures
Diameter 18 mm to 120 mm, thickness 0.5 mm to 3 mm.
Foam sheet family
Polyethylene foam sheets in rolls for liner and wad makers to punch or laminate into finished seals. Dust-free, chemically resistant and made from food-grade material.
- 3-layer EPE sheet (PSSEAL-3L): for punching liners and rings, and for induction wad lamination
- 1-layer EPE sheet (PSSEAL-1L): lamination backing for induction wads
Width 50 mm to 450 mm, thickness 0.2 mm to 3 mm.
